Geraldine Cox AM - Australian Magic in Cambodia
Wednesday 3 May 2006

Few Australian stories are more inspiring than that of Geraldine Cox AM, and Catalyst was honoured to host this extraordinary humanitarian. From her postings with the Department of Foreign affairs, to founding the Sunrise Children’s Village where she is “Big Mum” to over 80 children, Geraldine led us through the touching ups and downs of a life spent bringing love and hope to the vulnerable. The audience was moved to tears and also to purchasing a remarkable 50 copies of her book!

As a worthy side to Geraldine’s story, Catalyst also presented the story of Taylor and Khoo, a remarkable enterprise by two time poor Australian professionals who work with Geraldine and have transformed an orphanage in Cambodia.
