Amnesty International Womens Day
Wednesday 8 March 2006

It was a privilege for Catalyst to partner with Amnesty International in celebrating International Women’s Day, the global celebration of the economic, political and social achievements of women. The purpose of the event was to acknowledge Women Human Rights Defenders and their great work, and to help inspire a new generation of women into positive action.

The event was also part of the global launch of 'Imagining Ourselves: A Global Generation of Women', a worldwide campaign engaging women in their 20s and 30s on the topic of 'What defines your generation?'
